FOIA DocuLink was my Final Year Project, and was the largest, and final, piece of coursework completed as a part of my BSc in Computer Science.
A large Software Engineering project, FOIA DocuLink was developed as a solution to the issue of manual Freedom of Information Act request document discovery processes at a large organisation.
The project involved research into the legal field and artificial intelligence, in particular the field of Natural Language Processing.
A prototype application was designed, developed, and evaluated based on a set of criteria determined by requirements elicitation.
Angular, JavaScript, Python, Huggingface Transformers, SQL, and a variety of other technologies were utilised to build the prototype, after which a report was written about the development.
